About this Experience
Wild Lincoln Discovery is a full-day off-island experience designed to reveal the raw, untamed beauty of the Eyre Peninsula through a curated blend of wildlife, coastline and coastal cuisine. Your journey begins with a private transfer from Louth Island to the mainland, travelling to Mikkira Station, home to one of Australia’s largest free-roaming koala populations. Wander through native eucalyptus woodland and observe these iconic animals in their natural habitat. From here, continue along the spectacular coastline to Whalers Way, where towering cliffs, blowholes and ocean swells create one of South Australia’s most dramatic coastal landscapes. This remote and rugged section of coastline offers uninterrupted views across the Southern Ocean and is a highlight of the region. Midday, enjoy a relaxed seafood lunch at The Fresh Fish Place, renowned for its local catch and casual waterfront setting. The afternoon is spent exploring Lincoln National Park by 4WD, accessing remote beaches, sand dunes and coastal tracks not reachable by standard vehicles. Expect sweeping ocean views, abundant birdlife and a deeper connection with the region’s wild coastal environment. Wild Lincoln Discovery offers a perfect balance of adventure and indulgence, delivering an authentic taste of the Eyre Peninsula before returning to the seclusion of your private island stay. Blackout dates: August, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
